Board Certified Behavioural Analyst (BCBA)
Sheryl is a Case Supervisor at Think Kids. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Washington (Seattle, USA) and a Master of Arts in Psychology from New York University (New York, USA). She is also a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA), making Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) her specialty.
Sheryl has had the opportunity to work with children from various ages from diverse backgrounds. She grew up in Indonesia and studied and lived in the USA for 9 years prior to moving to Singapore. She brings with her over 3 years of clinical experience from New York City implementing and managing ABA programs at a private school for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). She has worked with a range of individuals from a multifaceted range of disabilities requiring early interventional support and guidance.
Sheryl believes in creating strong rapport with both the child and their caregivers as early as possible to enable a positive learning environment. She finds joy witnessing each child’s growth and development throughout the program. Sheryl believes in each child’s potential to improve – she enjoys discovering the child’s strengths and interests to find creative ways to use them in reaching target goals. During her spare time, Sheryl loves trying out new restaurants and traveling the world.
Sheryl is fluent in both Indonesian and English.
