Kelly Chan has a Masters in Developmental Psychology and Clinical Practice, and is a Registered Psychologist with the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS), as well as a Full Graduate Member with the British Psychological Society (BPS).
Passionate about early intervention, Kelly has worked primarily with children, adolescents, and families from diverse backgrounds in Singapore and London. She believes that these formative years are crucial in shaping the lives of individuals, and is dedicated to not only working with the client, but also the system around the young person to ensure that the best possible care and support is provided. Kelly has worked in hospital and mental health care services.
Kelly is trained in various disciplines of therapy, including Cognitive-Behavioural therapy, Psychodynamic therapy, and Family therapy. She draws upon multiple perspectives in her clinical formulation, and employs a unique combination of therapeutic strategies for each client based on their needs. She has significant experience in individual and group therapy, collaborating with parents in managing behaviours and emotions, as well as working closely with school teachers and counsellors to ensure that the client is well-supported in both home and school environments.
Kelly is proficient in English and Mandarin. She also able to converse in basic Spanish and French. During her spare time Kelly enjoys immersing herself in travel and learning different languages.
