Ruth is a Registered Psychologist with the Singapore Psychological Society (SRP) and the Australian Psychology Board (AHPRA). She holds a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology, and she is a Full Member of the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS).
Ruth has built strong clinical experience through her work in special education schools, early intervention centres, and clinic settings in Singapore and Australia. She supports children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, specific learning disorders, ADHD, and emotional or behavioural challenges. Ruth has experience providing individual counselling for adolescents, leading social skills group programmes, and conducting parent workshops. She works closely with parents, teachers, and the multidisciplinary team to develop personalised support to help each child build confidence and feel positive about their learning.
As an educational psychologist, Ruth is trained and certified to administer a range of psychological and educational assessments (ADOS-2, ADI-R, CTOPP-2, Stanford-Binet Intelligence Scales, Singapore Ability Scales, and Wechsler scales) and has conducted comprehensive assessments for specific learning disorders, neurodevelopmental conditions, mental capacity, and placement into special education or mainstream schools in Singapore.
Ruth believes that every child deserves to feel seen, heard, and understood, and her warm and thoughtful approach creates a supportive experience for both children and parents throughout the assessment and intervention process.
