Chau Yeng is a Counsellor and ABA Program Manager at Think Kids. She holds a Master’s degree in Counselling and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, and is a registered clinical member of the Singapore Association for Counselling. She specializes in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Her passion for working with individuals with special needs began during her university volunteer work at the Autism Youth Centre (now Eden Centre for Adults). Over the past 15 years, she has accumulated extensive experience in intervention with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental delays, learning difficulties (including ADHD, selective mutism, complex medical conditions, giftedness, intellectual disability), and varying degrees of behavioral challenges (such as restrictive eating and social communication difficulties).

As a Program Manager, Chau Yeng supervises a team of case supervisors to design and implement individualized intervention strategies, helping every child achieve their fullest potential. She is committed to using evidence-based therapies and is skilled at applying creative approaches to break through conventional frameworks and achieve therapeutic goals. She firmly believes that objective behavioral observation and analysis can create meaningful positive change.

She is dedicated to helping children generalize language, play, and social skills while reducing behaviors that interfere with learning. Beyond program design and implementation, she is also a certified Circle of Security Parenting facilitator, providing training in behavior management to parents, therapists, and teachers. In addition, she provides counseling to adolescents and adults facing anxiety, emotional, or interpersonal challenges. She has volunteered with the Singapore Anti-Narcotics Association and the Singapore Prison Service and has run programs in several schools.

In her free time, she enjoys sports and traveling. She is fluent in both English and Mandarin in her professional practice.
